Natasha Tracy on Scribd.comIn an effort to get more of my writing out there into the world and absolutely forcing agents to find me, I’m continuing to post documents to Scribed.com. I’m convinced that someone out there will find me and fall in love with my words.

Love and Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT)

Story - Powerless - Love and ECT

The last item I posted was an excerpt from off-label, a bipolar memoir. This time I’m posting a short story – Powerless: a Story of Love and Shock-Therapy. This story is, of course, loosely based on my own life events surrounding ECT but written from the perspective of the person who loves the bipolar woman going through electroconvulsive therapy (ECT). Yes, it really a story, it really is fiction.

This story isn’t cheery, as my experiences weren’t so cheery, but I think the writing makes reading it worthwhile. I love the exquisite and vivid descriptions of being absolutely, unreasonably in love. (Yes, I know, it’s egotistical to say that, but I do love them, so there.) But I must admit, even I find it rather tragic and I wrote the thing.

What Do You Think?

So please, read, share and leave feedback. You can tell me I’m completely wrong and it’s crap. That’s OK too.
